There is no true “original” Singapore Sling recipe. It’s long been lost. However, most recipes feature the same formula: gin, citrus, sweetener, and soda.
Singapore SlingCourse: cocktailDifficulty: easy
1 oz Gin
1/2 oz Cherry Liqueur
1/4 oz Dom Benedictine
1/4 oz Orange Liqueur
4 oz Pineapple Juice, unsweetened
1/4 oz Lime Juice, fresh
1 to 2 dashes Grenadine
Dash of Bitters
1 to 3 oz Club Soda
- Add ingredients (from gin to bitters) to a cocktail shaker. Fill 2/3 with ice.
- Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds (shaker should feel very cold).
- Fill glass with ice.
- Strain cocktail into glass.
- Top with soda.
- Garnish & Enjoy!
Worth the Effort
The ingredient list for a Singapore Sling is a bit longer than my usual cocktail preference but it’s delicious!
