Don’t be fooled by this pretty pink cocktail – it’s surprisingly dry (and a wee bit tart).

Pink Lady

Recipe by JennCourse: cocktailDifficulty: easy


Prep time






  • 1.5 oz Gin

  • 3/4 oz AppleJack Brandy (or apple brandy)

  • 1/4 oz Lemon Juice, fresh

  • 1 to 2 dashes Grenadine

  • 1 Egg White

  • Ice

  • Garnish Ideas
  • Sugar Rimmed Glass

  • Maraschino Cherry

  • Lemon Twist


  • Add gin, brandy, lemon juice, grenadine, and egg white to a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
  • Fill shaker with ice & shake for another 25-30 seconds, until frothy.
  • Pour into a glass.
  • Garnish & Enjoy!


  • The egg white will provide a frothy layer on top but has little effect on the flavor or quality of the cocktail. Skip it and you’ll still have a tasty drink (that will look like the one pictured).
