If I could only have one cocktail for the rest of my (hopefully long) life, it would be a mojito. Luckily I can’t foresee any reason I’d have to make that choice! Check out this classic Mojito recipe:
MojitoCourse: cocktailDifficulty: easy
2 tsp Sugar
8 Mint Leaves, fresh
2 to 3 oz Club Soda
2 oz Rum, light
1 Lime, juiced
- Garnish Ideas
Lime Slices / Wedges
- In a mixing glass, add sugar, mint leaves, and a splash of club soda.
- Muddle until fragrant and sugar has dissolved.
- Add lime juice & rum.
- Stir well to mix.
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Pour (or strain) cocktail into glass.
- Top with club soda.
- Garnish & Enjoy.
- Most mojitos are served with the muddled mint (and a couple of juiced lime wedges) in them. However, some people don’t enjoy drinking those bits. Feel free to strain if you want.
Mojitos are my Favorite!
I love a good mojito (truthfully, I love a mediocre mojito). This class recipe can be easily customized to suit your likes.
