This keto chili recipe is super easy to make. Try it on the stovetop in under an hour or cook it in the crockpot all day. It has only 276 calories and 8g of net carbs per serving. Give it a try!

Keto Chili Recipe

Keto Chili Recipe (an easy & delicious low carb recipe)

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Onion, chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Broth
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp Cumin, ground
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 cup Stewed Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Bell Pepper, chopped
  • 8 large Button Mushrooms, chopped


  1. In a large skillet, add ground beef, salt, onion, and garlic. Crumble beef as it cooks. Once brown, drain excess grease.

Stovetop Chili Method

  1. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well.
  2. Simmer on med-low heat for at least 30 minutes (an hour is better).
  3. Spoon into bowls, top with your favorite chili toppings (cheese, avocado, etc) and enjoy!

Slow Cooker Chili Method

  1. Transfer beef to slow cooker and add remaining ingredients. Stir well.
  2. Cook for 6+ hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.
  3. Spoon into bowls, top with your favorite chili toppings (cheese, avocado, etc) and enjoy!


Additions & Substitutions

Add crumbled bacon to your chili (because bacon makes everything better).

You can substitute any ground meat for the ground beef.

Remove the stewed tomatoes to lower the carb count (with tomatoes it's 8g of net carbs, remove the tomatoes and it drops to 6.1g of net carbs). This will make it a little less chunky but the tomato paste will still provide some underlying tomato flavor.
